Resolved Question: Equity Line of Credit HELP?? We have a double wide and were seeking?

I am looking into building a house. The problem is say I own a house worth x dollars and I owe less than the value of the house. I took out a home equity line of credit for the balance of the homes value. Now the problem is that land costs roughly the whole amount of the line of credit so if I buy the land I will have no money to start construction on the land I would now own. Is there a loan the banks can give me with next to no payments until the new house is built so I can sell the first to pay off the line of credit and the first mortgage?

Voting Question: i own my home, have a equity line of 100.000, we cant afford to pay the second, can they make us sell our home

or will they place a lein on the house

Resolved Question: Equity Line of Credit HELP?? We have a double wide and were seeking?

an equity line of credit of about 10,000. We have good credit but have a bankruptcy on our credit from about 3 years ago. I know that is bad but other than that everything lookd really good. Our credit score is right below 700. No one wants to help us because our home is considered a mobile home. It's bricked and considered real property. Who should we ask? Has anyone out there who has a mobile home got an equity lline of credit? Please tell me with who you did so we can call them. A direct e-mail to the company would be great too. Any suggestions? Thanks no it's not on rental property, we own a few acres, our mortage is with a reputable company known world wide (I won't say the name). were not in a trailor park or anything, we are in a nice community with mostly all "stick built" homes, brick and whatnot.
